So...thoughts about your clubs and the groups they got? I'm side-eyeing the hell out of Group A, but it could have been worse...:| Dortmund got lucky especially not being in Group H, too.
Since my club (Liverpool) isn't in the CL this season, I'm fairly relaxed about the whole thing. There are some teams I don't want to win, and some I'd like to do well, but that's it. As for the group phase, I'm most excited about Arsenal - Dortmund, should be two amazing games.
Yeah, for the second season running (ok, last one we had the Europa League, but, well ...). We had a horribly bad start to last season (as in 'relegation zone' bad), but I think we'll be back soon ;)
From what I've seen of Dortmund, they play rather good passing games (though I admit I haven't seen all that much), as do Arsenal - if they don't suffer from spectacular implosion, which seems to be the case more often than not recently, maybe that's the source of concern. If both teams play to the best of their abilities, it should be good *imo*
Relegation zone bad? Wow. The start of this season seems to be better, though, from what I've heard. (And hey, nothing wrong with Europa League! :P It's better than nothing!)
Yeah, people are saying that Arsenal's likely to not provide much to the Arsenal - Dortmund game, lol. I'm not too fussed who goes through in that group, tbh.
We had this new manager who didn't get our club at all and spent two weeks or so in the relegation zone, yep. Quite horrendous. Luckily, he got sacked in January, and since then Liverpool's been on the up! (Europa League last season was a bit of a waste, and then we didn't even qualify for that despite the resurgence, but that's ok because it means we can concentrate on the League this season).
I can see where they're coming from - Arsenal's form and success are one of the big question marks in the EPL at the moment. They are prone to those implosions, but *imho* they'll get their act together.
Since Liverpool isn't in, I guess I'll be rooting for Chelsea and Arsenal (and RM ofc), and I've got a friend who's a huge Valencia fan, so this will be awkward ...
Well, I'm a Real Madrid fan so I can't complain. Even if it was weird to draw two of the same teams we drew last year O___O Group G could be interesting because, well it lacks a 'big gun' so to speak. I know Porto won the Europa League but, still. It will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Some people seem to think that Arsenal - Dortmund will be overrated, though. idk.

And there's no reason to not support both Chelsea and Valencia (yet)! Given that the top two teams in each group advance....

This is true, but I tend to be pessimistic about the form of teams I support, ahaha. Fingers crossed though!
