Should RPF be allowed in this community?

Yes
10 (52.6%)

Yes, but under a members-only lock
3 (15.8%)

No

Eh, I don't care
3 (15.8%)

I have another answer, which I will give in the comments
1 (5.3%)

I should state upfront that I have no qualms about RPF, however I understand that others may be more circumspect. You don't need to justify your choice, whichever way you voted -- I've been around the fandom block long enough to not want to get into arguments about RPF.

I will close this poll in a week, so vote while you still can!

I wouldn't be opposed to members-only lock as that's how the tennis comms operate, but I'm also cool with not-locked if the rest of the comm is.

omg, football slash, me LUVZ it

But no need to have it in your comm, if it squicks, as there's plenty over at LJ comms football_slash and worldcup_slash so ;-)

I'm so excited! Have you guys seen this: football calendar? It's so beautiful.

It's like technology used for the ultimate good.

Ouf. I'm tending towards no because there is the likelihood of so much traffic that I think it could be a bit of a mess, not easily sorted out by filtering. I'd much rather keep two communities and integrate them - if integration is desirable - with the help of, say, a daily digest [here's a list of fic that was posted today! here's an update on the major news/links of the day!]. This is obviously totally unthinkable for any one or two mods to take on their plates, and by no means am I suggesting that by creating this one awesome comm the other must also follow through on your efforts or even necessarily as a sister comm. You have done us all a major service and I hope your favourite striker scores a hat-trick at some point of time in the tournament.

But I'm for dividing the traffic. Perhaps there's a good argument against this that I'm not seeing.
